Complete demolition and replacement of all interior finishes. During construction our team discovered that the domestic water system was failing, and we completely replaced it with PEX piping, increasing the scope of work while staying on schedule. Portions of the building were re-purposed to convert to study rooms, laundry facilities and ADA accessible dorm rooms. In addition, we added a new elevator off the student lounge area to access the lounge, first floor and second floor. This involved the under-pinning of the existing foundation and enclosing the area from the exterior of the building.
